The nonprofit organization ARCHEMED – Medical Aid for Children in Need was founded in 2010 in Soest/Westphalia. Our primary focus country is Eritrea; since 2021, individual initiatives in Albania, Afghanistan, Tanzania, Bhutan, and Ukraine have been added.

250 volunteers carry out 27 different projects in around 50 missions per year in war and crisis zones.
